Mexico
From amazing beach resorts to ancient cities, natural wonders and 8000 years old history - Mexico truly does have something for everyone!
Mexico is located in Gulf of Mexico, in between Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The country is very diverseoffering not only amazing 5* luxury resorts and hotels, but also ancient cities offering a glimpse of Mayan civilisations. Mexico is home to some of the most amazing natural wonders, such as Copper Canyon. Copper Canyon is four times larger than Grand Canyon in US and it offers one of the best and finest train journeys in the world.
Cancun is Mexico's most important tourist destination and the home of many of the world's most well known resorts. Over four million visitors arrive each year.
Cancun enjoys 240 days of sunshine a year, more than almost any other Caribbean location. The beaches are almost 100 percent limestone; the porous quality of the limestone makes for cool sand even under the intense tropical sun. The beaches in Cancun have to be seen to be believed - sugary white, smooth and lapped by amazing turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.
For water sports enthusiasts, Cancun offers some of the best scuba diving, snorkeling and fishing in the world, owing to the Great Mesoamerican Reef just off the coast of Cancun. This is the second largest reef in the world - second only to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
Cancun's Mayan Culture is its crowning glory. The aura of mystery and majesty still lingers around the Mayan ruins and archaeological sites such as Chichen Itza, Tulum and Coba to mention but a few. There you can explore the pyramids of the sun and moon as well as other fine examples of the legacies of the great civilizations of the Toltecs, Zapotecs, Olmecs and Aztecs.
Cancun weather is tropical and humid with year round sunshine. The temperature ranges from 20C to 30C from October through to March and from 22C to 33C from April to September.
We recommend: In our view, the best resort in Cancun is Le Blanc Resort. Overlooking one of Mexico's best white sandy beaches, Le Blanc is luxurious all inclusive adults only resort. All guest rooms offer lagoon or ocean view and each one has a double Jacuzzi. The resort offers three shimmering pools, two of which are infinity pools. You can dine in one of five distinctive restaurants and complement these meals with a collection of highly-rated wines from around the world. As Le Blanc Resort is a member of Palace Resorts, you can visit and use the facilities of any other resort (out of 12 in the region)! Talk about flexibility and choice!
